Buying second-hand LEGO sets is a good way to save money, but are all the bricks still there? The Set Completeness Checker helps you verify that.
When do you use this?
- When buying a second-hand set
- When rebuilding an old set
- For a mixed LEGO bin that may contain a set
Step 1: Start a new check session
Go to "Set Check" in the app and tap "New check". Search for the LEGO set you want to verify — for example set 10300 (DeLorean).
Step 2: Select the set
Tap the set in the search results. You get a list of all parts that belong to the set, grouped by color and type.
Step 3: Check off parts
Go through the parts and tick them off as you find them. The progress bar shows how far you are. For parts where you need more than 1 you can count up the quantity.
Step 4: View the result
At the end you see how complete the set is in percentage. Missing parts are listed at the top so you can order them via BrickLink.
Pro tip: check together
If the set is in a shared collection, multiple people can work in the same session simultaneously. Changes sync in real time.
