Want to show your collection to others without giving them edit access? A secret link is the solution.
Step 1: Open your collection
Go to the collection you want to share and open the settings via the menu (three dots).
Step 2: Change visibility
Under "Visibility" choose one of three options:
- Private — only you see the collection (default)
- Via link — anyone with the link can view
- Public — discoverable by anyone on Collecty
Choose "Via link" for the secret link option.
Step 3: Copy the link
A share link now appears in the collection screen. Click the copy icon to put it on your clipboard.
Step 4: Share the link
Send the link via your favorite channel. Recipients see your collection but cannot change or add anything.
Tip: link is permanent
The link works as long as the collection is set to "Via link". Want the old link to stop working? Set it back to "Private" and then to "Via link" again — you get a new link.
